I travelled around Tasmania (Apple Isle) for 10 Days in December/January 2005-06. One of the most spectacular sights was Cradle Mountain National Park. Climbed all the way to the summit. The alpine scenery and vegetation are remarkable and quite unlike the Australian mainland.
